FdSc, BA (Hons), MBACP Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist

Therapy can offer support at times of life’s challenges. These challenges from our past or present can impact our relationships, our personal and professional lives, even us physically. I can offer you a safe, confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences.

My wish is to understand your experiences through your lens. This work can be difficult due to facing things you may naturally rather ignore or forget however, I will be alongside you in this process, offering compassion and support.

By increasing our understanding of ourselves how our present patterns of behaviour came into existence, we can grow and bring about change, which can ultimately empower us and enrich our lives.

As an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist I utilise my knowledge of numerous theories and techniques, including Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Gestalt, Object Relations and the Transpersonal. I believe no two clients are the same, so these combined skills mean I am not bound to a singular approach and enable me to adapt to your individual needs.

Many of my own life experiences have led me to this role; I have an understanding of personal loss, change and the variety of challenges this presented for me. During some of these times I was fortunate enough to have the support of some experienced therapists who helped me to understand myself more, to grow as an individual, and to make positive changes to my life.

I operate my private practice from various locations in Surrey, where I offer face-to-face sessions for adults (18+). This can be open ended or short-term, depending on your needs.

Do get in touch if you feel I can support you.

Experience

I have experience working with a variety of issues, such as historical family patterns, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, divorce, loss, bereavement, relationship problems, job loss, lack of confidence, bullying, and stress.

I have also worked for a young people’s charity. Here I provided counselling to children and young adults (11-25).

In addition to this, I have volunteered within an NHS setting, where I provided short-term therapy to GP referrals.
