Sarah Courts

MBACP, FdSc Relational Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, BCom.

Life can sometimes seem like an endless maze, leaving you feeling overwhelmed and powerless. Discussing your struggles confidentially with a compassionate therapist can help you feel understood, enabling you to explore your emotions and challenge your thought patterns to initiate meaningful changes.

I specialise in assisting adults including young adults in navigating life transitions, managing challenging emotions, coping with anxiety or depression, addressing relationship struggles, feeling burnout, worthless or lost. I recognise the courage it takes to embark on the journey of healing and self-discovery. If you’re ready for this transformative journey, I invite you to reach out and schedule a session.

As an experienced Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I am committed to guiding individuals on their path to mental well-being, personal growth, and fulfilment. I take a holistic approach to your needs, utilising a variety of therapeutic methods including but not limited to CBT, Psychodynamic, and Transactional Analysis therapy to customise our sessions specifically to you.

My practice is grounded in the principles of self-discovery and acceptance. I aim to help you identify your needs and embrace your authentic self through increased self-awareness. Together, we’ll work to unravel the complexities of your current challenges, empowering you to forge a path forward.

Experience

In addition to my private practice, my volunteer experience included Phoenix Counselling and Psychotherapy, an agency dedicated to providing affordable and accessible community counselling. At Phoenix, I supported adults dealing with trauma, loss, abuse, anxiety, and depression.

Currently I serve as a counsellor with the Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust, where I am part of the Youth Counselling Services team, working with young individuals aged 12-25. In private practice, I provide counselling to young adults from 16 years.
