Consultant Clinical Psychologist
I’m a Clinical Psychologist specialising in EMDR and CBT, offering effective treatment for a range of psychological problems, including Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression. I specialise in working individually with adults and adolescents (15+), tailoring treatment to meet the goals and needs of each individual. I practice in Farnham, Esher, and Wokingham.
I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of British Columbia in Canada and have worked as a Clinical Psychologist in the NHS and privately since 1999. I have worked in all health care settings including Community Mental Health Teams, GP surgeries, and inpatient services. I have also worked in specialist services for eating disorders and obesity. I have taught on the doctoral training course at the University of Surrey and was Course Director for the High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Training Programme at the University of Reading. Due to my interest in evidence based psychological therapies, I have gained further qualifications in CBT and EMDR.
