UKCP, MBACP, GMBPsS, MSc, BSc Counsellor and Psychotherapist
Hello, and welcome to my profile.
I am a qualified registered Psychotherapist (UKCP) and registered Counsellor (BACP), currently in the final stages of completing my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. I offer short-term, medium-term, and long-term individual psychological therapy to adults in English and Greek.
Are you facing challenging life transitions or lost interest in activities that once brought you joy? Maybe you are unsure exactly what is troubling you, but you feel something is not quite right. I appreciate that reaching out for help can feel daunting, and finding a therapist you feel comfortable working with is an important first step.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and relational patterns. Together, we can work towards a way forward, helping you lead a more satisfying and fulfilling life.
My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I combine several psychological theories and techniques into a cohesive and relational way of working. I tailor my interventions to your individual needs and goals because I believe that “one size does not fit all.”
I work collaboratively, as I believe clients are the true experts in their own experiences. My role is to facilitate an exploration of your thoughts and emotions and help you recognise your inner strengths. This can empower you to face life’s challenges with greater resilience and clarity. I view the therapeutic relationship as central to facilitating meaningful change. Because of this, I pay close attention to the relational dynamics within the therapy room and encourage open feedback throughout our work together.
Please feel free to get in touch if you would like more information or to arrange an initial consultation. This will give us the opportunity to meet, you to ask any questions, and we can discuss your hopes and goals for therapy.
With 13 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring extensive knowledge and expertise to my private practice. I have worked in various therapeutic settings, such as Ealing Abbey Counselling Service, Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy Service (MCPS), Turning Point, Enfield Bereavement Service and the higher education sector (Trinity Laban Conservatoire). I can help with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, stress, panic attacks, depression, relationship and family issues, life transitions, bereavement, loss, abuse, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex trauma (C-PTSD).
I have specialist knowledge and experience in perinatal mental health. This includes working with infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, difficulties bonding with the baby, and adjustment to parenthood. My doctoral research focused on women’s experience of pregnancy loss and subsequent childbirth.
I am fully committed to continuous personal and professional development. I regularly attend clinical and peer supervision, seminars, conferences, and workshops. This helps me to keep up with the latest research and integrate new therapeutic models and interventions into my practice, ensuring my clients receive the highest quality of care.
I adhere to the UKCP, BACP, BPS, ICO, and Metanoia Institute codes of ethics to ensure safe working. I also hold Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
