MBCAP Counsellor

The Japanese say you have three faces. The first face, you show to the World. The second face, you show to your close friends and your family. The third face, you never show anyone. It is an accurate reflection of who you are.

I am passionate about counselling and the positive change it can bring. I believe the therapeutic relationship between us is the key to enabling your therapy to be successful. I offer counselling through a person-centred approach. I can’t wave a magic wand and make things better for you, but I can be alongside you as you explore your own thoughts and feelings.

I offer a safe space which is confidential, non-judgemental, and accepting of you and your needs. Together we can explore the difficulties and challenges you may be experiencing. My training allows me to access different interventions which can be tailored to benefit and support each unique client. Sharing your feelings may be the first step. My aim is to help you gain emotional strength to effect change in your life. Supporting individuals as they navigate their transition in life’s most challenging moments, exploring topics such as stress, fear, anger, depression, anxiety, grief, sadness, values resilience, and growth.

I work in private practice working with adults, offering long- or short-term counselling face-to-face or online. I am also a volunteer counsellor for the Fountain Centre situated within Guildford’s Royal Surrey Hospital, providing counselling support for long-term or terminally ill patients and their families.
