How I Can Support You
As your counsellor, I will support you in creating the lasting change and personal growth you need to be able to live a happier and more fulfilling life.
My aim is to provide you with a safe and confidential space to better understand the root of your problems and find healthier ways of coping with them. I will offer you a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, warmth, acceptance and transparency.
I will not give you advice but will support and empower to you to explore your own path, uncover your inner wisdom and discover new ways to grow and improve your life. We all experience the world differently within our lives and relationships and there is much value in our uniqueness which is not always understood and appreciated by ourselves or others.
During the time that we work together I will help you to better understand yourself, in how you think, feel, react and respond. Increasing your self-awareness can positively change both how you feel about yourself and others and help improve your relationships.
Who I Work With
Individual Counselling: I offer one to one counselling to adults and young people 17+ years old. I also really enjoy working with trainee counsellors that access therapy as part of their course requirements.
Couples Counselling: I provide couples a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to explore any issues or concerns they may be experiencing in their relationship. Having therapy as a couple is an opportunity to gain new perspectives and learn new ways of being together. This is enabled by improving communication, exploring difference, conflict styles and intimacy.
Clinical Supervision: I provide supervision to qualified counsellors, trainee counsellors and professionals that work in care giving roles. My aim is to provide a supervisory relationship that is caring, supportive and growth inducing. This enables a collaborative approach to our work and ensures the important aspects of support, learning and monitoring are all covered.
