Marian Stewart
MBACP
Hello, I am a Counsellor/Psychotherapist experienced in working with adults, young people and children. I have late afternoon and evening appointments available. Taking the first step isn’t always easy; however the rewards can be life changing!
I believe our life experience affects our perceptions and way of being; the relationships we have with ourselves, others and our environment. I encourage my clients to explore what is troubling them and find their own inner resources by offering a safe space where they will be listened to, free of any judgement or direction by me. Incorporated into my approach I use the insight from Existential, Psychoanalytical, Attachment, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Transactional Analysis with therapy tailored to each individual client as we are all unique!
I am fully insured and as a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy abide by their Ethical Framework with a commitment to continuous professional development.
In a voluntary capacity I hold a current Enhanced DBS Certificate for both vulnerable adults and children.
