As a compassionate and experienced play and creative arts integrative psychotherapist, I am dedicated to helping children, young people and adults navigate their challenges and achieve comfort, hope and progress in their mental health and well being. I use an integrative blend of tools including sand trays, creative arts, metaphors, sensory and somatic experiencing, yoga, alongside talking and meeting clients where they are.
We set therapeutic goals together and focus each session on your needs. I work in a person centred, child led way as well as directive work when this is supportive to progress. This means each client is met with compassion and a deep respect to build their sense of self and trust in themselves.
I specialize in a variety of areas, including but not limited to anxiety, attachment, low mood and depression, identity, trauma, post adoption support, neurodiversity and long term health conditions. I am dedicated to providing personalised, bespoke care to each client.
A safe, accessible and inclusive space is provided to explore feelings and experiences on a journey of self-healing. I am a member of British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and abide by BACP ethical principles.
In addition, I provide therapeutic life story work, story stem attachment assessments and therapeutic yoga as appropriate and commissioned.
Alongside therapeutic work, I provide a clinical and professional supervision practice working with individuals and groups collaboratively to learn and grow together through deeper ethical reflection.
Experience
I have over 15 years experience working with children and young people in the Youth Service and Education including infant, primary and secondary schools, outreach projects and partnership working alongside my private practice.
