Katharine Fowler

BSc (Hons), BACP Psychotherapist

Hi and welcome to my profile,

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unsure where to begin. You might be feeling anxious, depressed, requiring support with ADHD, PTSD/Trauma or having difficulties in relationships at home or work, dealing with a loss, going through a life change or trying to understand difficult feelings.

As an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, I offer a safe, unjudgmental space where you can talk openly and explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I work with empathy and warmth, helping you to gain self-understanding, emotional stability, improved daily functioning and tools to assist in navigating life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. Working together, I can support you in making sense of your experiences, reconnect with your inner strengths, and move towards a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

My goal isn’t just to listen, but to help you:

Gain clarity on the things that feel overwhelming right now.
Reconnect with your own inner strengths.
Build a toolkit of practical ways to navigate life’s ups and downs.

As a qualified registered BACP psychotherapist/counsellor, I am committed to maintaining an ethical conduct, regular supervision and continuous professional development.

I understand that it can be difficult to choose a therapist, so please feel free to contact me if you would like to ask any questions. I offer new clients a free 20-minute video consultation, so you can see if I am someone you feel comfortable working with.
