Member UKCP Counsellor

I understand that life can present various challenges and can sometimes feel overwhelming. Perhaps you are feeling stuck or held back by something beyond your control, be it a present or past experience. Alternatively, you may have noticed patterns or behaviours that are unhelpful. I offer a safe and supportive non-judgmental relationship where we can process your thoughts and feelings and find ways to support you in navigating through these challenges, developing a deeper understanding and acceptance of yourself.

Whether you are facing relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, or a general sense that something isn’t quite right, I work integratively. This means that I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your specific needs and preferences. I believe that therapy is a collaborative partnership where we work together to navigate the challenges you face. It is an opportunity to help you move towards becoming the kind of person you want to be and have more choices in your relationships with others and yourself.

I offer both short-term (8+ sessions) and long-term therapy options, and I provide an initial free 20-minute telephone consultation This provides an opportunity for us to determine if I am the right fit for you.

Experience

I bring to my practice over 15 years of experience working in commercial businesses and working with young people. I have worked for several years for organisations and charities offering open-ended counselling, facilitated through NHS-referred and self-referred clients.

I am a BACP qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and am currently advancing my training with an MSC in Integrative Psychotherapy (UKCP Accredited).
