Charlotte Musgrove

Counsellor MBACP

Holistic. Curious. Compassionate. Challenging. Creative. Kind.

Is the energy I bring to my clients. I work relationally by exploring our connection to our thoughts, feelings, sensations, bodies, others, beliefs, our identity.

We are a product of our lived experience, our families, friends, social and cultural pressures and we all need a space to be held for us to explore who we are without these entrenchments.

Having a caring, therapeutically loving space, where we are advocated for, heard, spoken to with compassion, understanding, belief and challenge is foundational to the therapeutic relationship.

How I Work & Who I Work With

I work with the human experience which can take the shape of anxiety, depression, PTSD, self worth, low self-esteem, addictions, trauma, grief, helplessness, dark night of the soul, awakening, avoidance, Neurodiversity, attachment, blocks, identity, boundaries, shame, life (re)orientation.

I work creatively, leaning into sub personalities, our inner child, metaphor, imagery which entwine with my Gestalt, Existential and Person Centred training.

I love working with clients that are on the cusp of transition and significant change, clients that need help orientating their life journey, clients that need to restore or develop a renewed sense of self, people that are struggling to find meaning and connection.

I have an unquenchable thirst for people’s stories and for people to live content, meaningful lives and to feel like they have the resources to navigate the storms life inevitably brings.

Working with clients to challenge versions of themselves that no longer serve them and heal from experiences that have impacted our core is an absolute privilege.
