MBACP Integrative Psychotherapist

Whether you are navigating a major life transition or carrying long-standing difficulties, therapy can offer a space to make sense of your experience — a place where we can sit together with pain and difficult feelings and allow them room to breathe. It is an opportunity to listen inwardly, to explore and express who you are, what matters to you, what you carry, and what it means for you — to find new perspectives and reconnect with your own resilience.

I am a qualified integrative therapist, offering a calm, safe, genuine, and supportive space to explore whatever may be happening in your life right now.

I have experience working with people who feel overwhelmed — by grief, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or significant life changes. You may be experiencing low mood or persistent worries, navigating family life, facing ageing or questions of mortality, coping with health challenges or medical treatment, or searching for meaning. Sometimes there is no single clear problem, just a sense that life feels heavy or uncertain.

My approach is integrative, drawing on psychodynamic therapy and CBT. This allows us to gently explore past experiences and patterns, while also focusing on practical ways to help you cope and move forward in the present.

Some clients seek focused, time-limited work around a specific issue. Others prefer longer-term therapy to understand enduring patterns. We can decide together what feels most appropriate.

My aim is to offer a steady, thoughtful, and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly. Therapy with me is not about being fixed or told what to do. It is about coming to understand yourself more fully, at your own pace.

You do not need to arrive with clear answers or story. We can begin wherever you are.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. For this reason, the first session offers us the opportunity to get to know one another and explore how it feels to work together. We will talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and how I work, giving us both the space to consider whether this feels like the right fit.

Experience

I have worked a couple of years as a counsellor with cancer patients, carers and bereaved at The Mulbury Centre. I have practiced psychotherapy in a mental health centre, working with different life situations including Anxiety, depression, OCD and personality disorders. And had a supervision role at an online helpline.
