MA Integrative Psychotherapist
I am a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with three years of experience working with adults with a wide range of issues.
Being integrative means I incorporate different theories and practices to work in a way to suit each client’s needs. My priority is to provide you with a supportive, safe and confidential space so you feel comfortable to talk about things that are on your mind. We will together find ways to understand and address any difficult issues you may be dealing with.
My approach draws mainly upon psychodynamic and person centred traditions. This means I will work alongside you to explore your thoughts, feelings, values and beliefs and how these link to your past but also the choices you make in the present. We will explore interactions between people, how you communicate and what influence the choices you make have on the relationships around you and the way you live your life.
I work with a large range of people from many different backgrounds, nationalities and cultures and with a wide variety of issues.
I am committed to high professional standards and work to the Code of Ethics of my membership organisation and their requirements for Continuing Professional Development.
I offer long and short term therapy and we can agree a way to work together when we meet.
I have worked in a variety of settings including the charity sector and NHS.
