About me and my practice

I’m an integrative therapist supporting adults experiencing bereavement and anxiety. I also work with people facing low mood, relationship difficulties, and identity issues.

We are creatures of habit. Our trusted routines help us navigate day-to-day life, but sometimes it brings unexpected challenges. In these moments, familiar ways of coping may no longer serve us, and it can feel difficult to understand what lies beneath our distress.

If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or facing a challenging situation, I can support you in making sense of your experiences. Change is possible, and therapy can offer a way forward.

As integrative practitioner, I draw on psychodynamic and humanistic approaches. This means we might focus on the present moment and what arises in our sessions, or gently explore past experiences and patterns—such as attachment and relationships—to better understand how they may be shaping your current life. I also welcome creativity in the therapeutic process, where helpful, to support expression beyond words. Each session is guided by you and adapted to suit your unique needs.

I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. My aim is to help you build clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

Availability

I mainly see clients face-to-face on Thursdays. If that day isn’t suitable for you, please feel free to contact me, as I can often arrange sessions on Friday afternoons or Saturdays.

I offer a free 20-minute initial phone call, giving us an opportunity to talk through what you’re looking for and see whether working together feels like the right fit.

Experience

My experience includes a placement at a local hospice, where I developed a strong foundation in grief counselling. I also volunteer with a charity supporting survivors of sexual abuse and rape, and I have over ten years’ experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including children, girls, and women. This has given me a deep appreciation of how neurodivergence can shape identity and lived experience.

My own therapy during difficult times in my life has shown me the value of having a safe, attentive, and non-judgemental space. I understand how powerful it can be to feel truly heard and supported – and I’m passionate to share this with everyone seeking support.
