Craig Isaia
BACP Counsellor
I offer a safe, confidential, and welcoming space where you can talk openly about whatever’s on your mind. As an integrative counsellor, I tailor my approach to suit your needs, drawing from different therapeutic techniques to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and feel more in control.
Rather than following a single method, I adapt my style to what works best for you. This might mean exploring how past experiences shape your present, identifying unhelpful thought patterns, or learning ways to manage stress and anxiety with greater self-compassion. My focus is always on creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood.
Therapy can feel like a big step, so I work at a pace that feels comfortable. I have experience supporting adults aged 18 to 70, particularly those dealing with anxiety, depression, or life transitions. Sessions last 50 minutes and are available both face-to-face and online, usually on a weekly basis. To help you decide if I’m the right fit, I offer a free 15-minute chat where we can talk about what you need and how I can help.
Experience
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked as a teacher and support worker for adults with learning disabilities. That experience led me to retrain as an integrative counsellor, as I became passionate about helping people reach their full potential—both professionally and personally.
I have also worked at a charity providing low-cost counselling, which I found incredibly rewarding. I truly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be heard and supported, no matter their circumstances.
I am a member of the BACP, which means I adhere to their code of ethics and attend regular supervision to ensure that I provide the best possible support to my clients.
