HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical Psychology)

I am a HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience providing psychological therapy, assessment, and formulation for adults experiencing emotional, mental health, or cognitive challenges. My background spans neuropsychology, trauma, mental health, and rehabilitation, including work in specialist neurorehabilitation, trauma services, and veteran mental health settings.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I draw on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Therapy for PTSD (CT-PTSD), Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and neuropsychological and behavioural approaches. A central part of the work involves making sense of your experiences and understanding the patterns that may be keeping difficulties going. From there, we develop practical strategies that help create meaningful and lasting change.

I work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, helping clients explore difficult experiences while building the skills and understanding needed to move forward.

I often work with people experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, anger-related difficulties, or changes in thinking, memory, or daily functioning. I also support adults exploring possible ADHD, offering assessment and practical strategies to help with organisation, focus, and emotional regulation.

My Adult ADHD assessment is a structured 90‑minute appointment that includes screening measures completed beforehand, a focused clinical interview, functional assessment, and personalised recommendations. This assessment helps clarify whether ADHD traits are present and what support may be helpful.

Alongside therapy, I provide neuropsychological assessment and cognitive rehabilitation for adults affected by brain injury, neurological conditions, or long-term health problems. I also work with people adjusting to significant life changes or seeking clarity about their cognitive or psychological wellbeing.

Experience

I have held senior clinical roles in services specialising in neurorehabilitation, trauma, and veterans’ mental health. My work has included supporting adults adjusting to brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, and major life changes, alongside providing cognitive assessment, rehabilitation, and trauma-focused therapy.

Before moving into private practice, I worked in charity-based services delivering psychological therapy, neuropsychological assessment, and rehabilitation within multidisciplinary teams. I have extensive experience working with military personnel, veterans, and individuals affected by accidents, assaults, and long-term health conditions.
