Bethany Rosindell

MBACP Counsellor Psychotherapist

Hi there, I’m Bethany and I’m glad you’re here. I’m a BACP registered Integrative Therapist and I specialise in helping Millennials and Gen Xers struggling with how they feel about themselves (AKA low self-worth), the circumstances of their lives and challenging relationship dynamics. My clients often experience feeling unseen, alone in their thoughts or different due to neurodiversity.

My relational approach combines Person-Centred Therapy and Transactional Analysis with a Mind/Body perspective.

Person-Centred Therapy
For client-led exploration focussing on what makes you uniquely individual and your relationship with yourself, others and the world around you, to help you consider your feelings and capacity for change.

Transactional Analysis
A theoretical model that helps determine which part of you is in the driving seat of your emotional responses and social interactions, to better understand your behaviour and what historically may be influencing you in the here and now.

Mind/Body Perspective
Awareness of the relationship between the mind and body as intrinsically connected, using contemporary science to understand the role of the nervous system in emotional regulation and recognise when our actions and feelings aren’t in alignment, through bodily responses to stressful experiences.

I have a deep understanding of Autism and ADHD and the challenges faced by neurodiverse families, and offer my clients relief from being understood. I identify human patterns of relating – so feelings can be expressed without shame – to foster self-compassion, resilience and a desire for change.

We do this through coming together to talk, think and feel about things that are on your mind or even keeping you up at night.
I have been where you are right now, considering if talking to someone will help. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy to be fully seen and heard by another person in a way that respects who you are, without judgement, is good for us all.

Everyone of us is a work in progress and needs support at times to foster self-love and figure out how to live life in a way that is meaningful and brings joy.
