MBACP, PGDip Counsellor, Psychotherapist
I am a compassionate counsellor who offers a safe and open space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions and experience. My approach is rooted in empathy and non-judgement, ensuring that you feel heard, understood and supported throughout your therapeutic journey.
I support a wide-range of people, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, work stress, grief, long term illness and pain, and dealing with relationships with ourselves, others and society. I believe it is the quality of the therapeutic relationship that can support you through these challenges and provide you with the basis to enable change and growth.
My work is ‘integrative’ which means that you and your unique needs are met with the approach needed for you at that time. I draw from person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT approaches and have a keen interest in how the body and mind interact in our experiences and emotions.
Whether you are seeking support for personal struggles or looking to explore your emotional well-being in a deeper way, I can support you with compassion and openness to more fully become yourself.
To date I have worked within a mental health charity supporting clients with issues such as grief and loss, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, shame, guilt, neurodiversity, loneliness, gender identity.
