I work with humans who courageously want to unpick the tough stuff and change their lives…

Are you struggling with life or in your personal or family relationships? Does it seem like you are drenched in anxiety? Do you have low self esteem or find identifying your needs difficult let alone how to communicate them? Perhaps it feels wrong or selfish to have needs? Maybe you feel you have had a lifetimes worth of pain and distress? Just existing exhausting? Perhaps you just want to be heard, looking for clarity or are seeking change and don’t know where to begin? Are you experiencing a longing to thrive in life versus just survive? Feeling stuck in life is beyond frustrating. How you feel matters, and what you need is important… maybe no one ever told you this.

Together we can build a relationship to explore what life is like for you and how you would like it to be. With curiosity, we can recognise why it may have been this way and how these experiences play out in your current life by looking at important factors such as past experiences, current and/or past relationships, traumas including relationship traumas and childhood experiences which can shed light on current relationship difficulties. These subjects may be painful or may feel numb, ‘nothing to see here, move on’. You may have trapped and unprocessed feelings or emotion blocking your growth.

We can work together on naming, acknowledging your experiences, feelings and ‘getting to the heart of the matter’ to release these emotional barriers. The aim is to enable a deeper understanding, awareness and empathy towards self, which in turn, provides more room for choice for you to grow, and create the life you want.

I have special interest in clients who have experienced traumatic childhoods via dysfunctional or abusive families. These themes can often continue into adulthood. Individuals who have suffered this way may feel totally alone in their experience, as if nothing ‘good’ ever happens to them “one thing after another”. Relationships may be very difficult. This may also look like:
• Estrangement
• Surviving emotionally immature parents
• Emotionally caretaking of parents
• Dysfunctional families
• Disorganised attachment
• Abuse within the family
• Sibling abuse
• Traumatic loneliness
• Emotional neglect
• Disorganised attachment
