Feeling the weight of keeping it all together?

Are you the one everyone leans on: calm, capable and in control, while inside you’re exhausted from keeping it all together?

You’re brilliant at supporting everyone else, but the overthinking never stops. The self-doubt is relentless. You say yes when you want to say no, and guilt hits the moment you try to prioritise yourself.

How I can help

I’m Aimee, a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor helping women who look like they’ve got it together on the outside but are tired of overthinking, people-pleasing and perfectionism running the show. Working together, we’ll untangle the self-doubt that keeps you stuck and help you feel confident and in charge of your own life again.

The women I work with

I working with thoughtful, resilient women who’ve had enough of second-guessing their every decision and carrying everyone else’s emotional load. In therapy, we make sense of where those patterns began and how they quietly shape your relationships, boundaries and self-belief today.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, grounded and gently challenging. I’ll listen with care and compassion, reflect what I notice, and help you spot the old stories driving your overthinking or perfectionism so you can start choosing something different.

I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods along. I’ll walk alongside you with empathy, humour, insight (and the occasional well-placed swear word) to help you feel seen.

Before retraining as a therapist I spent 18 years in the corporate world, so I understand the pressure of keeping up appearances while quietly falling apart.

Experience

I have experience working with a range of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic abuse and addictions.

My experience in working in women’s centres and women’s prisons has given me a deep appreciation for the diverse challenges women who have been through past traumatic experiences face.

Whether you’re dealing with relationship patterns that keep bringing chaos, trying to build a life after trauma, or just know something needs to change but can’t quite figure out what – I get it. And more importantly, I can help.
