Join this supportive and practical yoga workshop designed to help you better understand and manage anxiety through accessible mindfulness practices.

Anxiety can often feel overwhelming and confusing. This two hour workshop offers a supportive space to slow down, deepen your understanding and gently reconnect with your body in a safe and manageable way.

During the workshop, you will explore how anxiety shows up in both the body and the mind, and why it can sometimes feel so difficult to manage. By learning about the role of the nervous system and how to work with it, rather than against it, you can begin to respond to anxious feelings with greater steadiness, awareness and self-compassion through the concept of the Window of Tolerance.

Throughout the session, you will be guided through gentle and accessible practices including breathwork, mindfulness and simple somatic movement.

This Workshop Will Include

  • A clearer understanding of anxiety and how the nervous system responds to stress
  • An introduction to the Window of Tolerance
  • Simple breathing techniques and mindfulness practices
  • Gentle somatic tools to help regulate and ground the body
  • Printed take-home resources to support your continued practice

You will also learn breathing exercises, grounding techniques and an introduction to the Window of Tolerance diagram to take away, allowing you to revisit these tools whenever you need them.

Eva Donovska (Eva Donovska | The Eaves Counselling and Psychology), Counsellor & Psychotherapist at The Eaves (Gestalt, EMDR, UK Body-Mind Centering® Student & Yoga teacher), interweaving presence, mindfulness, compassion and wellbeing themes throughout her offerings.

 

Please bring your own yoga mat (mats are not provided).

Optional: blanket, pillow, warm socks or yoga block.
