Trauma isn’t just a story held in the mind, it lives in the body
This experiential CPD workshop invites therapists to explore how awareness of the body and nervous system can transform the way we understand safety, connection and regulation in the therapeutic space.
Through a blend of theory, guided practice and reflection you will move from thinking to sensing while discovering how the body can guide us toward deeper healing.
The following key topics will be explored:
- How to recognise the signs of nervous system regulation and dysregulation
- Gentle, embodied tools to restore balance
- The importance of co-regulation and therapist presence
- Practical ways to weave body awareness safely into clinical work
This trauma-informed session offers both knowledge and embodied experience, supporting you in developing a more grounded and compassionate therapeutic practice.
