Nutrition and Hydration week has been going since March 2012 and aims to help people understand the importance of nutrition and hydration in everyone’s everyday life. Having good nutrition and hydration has been shown to help improve people’s mental health.
The highlight of the week is the Global Tea Party which is taking place on Wednesday 13th March this year. This event invites people from all over the country to have fun in promoting healthy nutrition and hydration.
Care homes, schools and shops take part in providing a nutritious afternoon tea while spreading awareness for how important good nutrition and hydration is for both physical and mental health.
