This year International Women’s day is on 8th March and the theme for 2019 is #Balanceforbetter. This theme encourages a balance in gender equality and the notion that if we can better the balance we can better the world.
They suggest that balance is not a women’s issue it’s a business issue. “The race is on for the gender-balanced boardroom, a gender-balanced government, gender-balanced media coverage, a gender-balance of employees, more gender-balance in wealth, gender-balanced sports coverage”.
International Women’s Day is no longer just about women but a gender balanced equality which everyone deserves regardless of gender.
