MBACP (accred), BSc, PGDip
Hello, my name is Natasha. I’m a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I am an qualified integrative therapist working with adults and young people (aged 11 +). My background is in the helping professions in the voluntary, statutory and private sector where I have worked for 15 years.
There can be many reasons to want to come to counselling. We are all unique with our own set of particular problems. Whatever the problem and no matter how large or small it appears please feel free to contact me.
I have extensive experience in working with individuals and groups experiencing emotional difficulties.
Here are some of the problems and difficulties that I work with:
Bereavement and other losses
Abuse – physical, sexual or emotional
Low self esteem and self worth
My training is in integrative counselling. This means I am trained in using many different approaches (including person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapy), and can draw upon these depending on your individual needs.
I offer long-term face-to-face work
short-term face-to-face work
and time-limited work.
I have a broad experience working with adults and young people with a wide range of issues.
I have spent 7 years working within Counselling and Mental Health Services within Higher Education. My work has involved supporting students experiencing a range of difficulties such as low-self esteem, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, procrastination as well as those who live with, or alongside neurodivergence.
Prior to this I have worked within Schools, Colleges and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) working with children and young people.
