MBAPC Counsellor and Psychotherapist
At times we all go through struggles in life which affect our wellbeing, our relationships, and ability to function in our daily lives. I can offer you compassion and support so that you don’t have to manage on your own. You can lead on the content that you bring to the session and together we can explore your thoughts and feelings and work through any challenges or difficulties that you are experiencing.
Counselling can be a rewarding experience which can enable you to gain self-awareness, challenge your ways of thinking, and develop new strategies for coping that work for you, all of which will help to build your resilience.
I am a qualified integrative counsellor and draw upon a variety of therapeutic approaches which enables me to tailor my approach to suit your individual needs. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am bound by its ethical framework.
I have experience of working with clients suffering from a number of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, loss, trauma and addiction.
I understand that counselling can feel daunting, and you may be unsure if it is the right course of action for you. I offer a free 30-minute consultation by telephone or online to discuss what you are looking for and to get a feel for how we could work together.
Alongside my work based at The Eaves, I offer an online and telephone counselling service.
Alongside my private practice, I work for a charity providing support to adults affected by drug and alcohol use.
I have worked for the NHS offering short-term free counselling to adults needing support with a range of issues including depression, stress, anxiety, trauma and bereavement. I have also worked as a school counsellor offering one to one counselling support for students aged 14-18.
