MBACP Counsellor

Feeling lost, overwhelmed and not OK anymore?

Recognising these feelings and actively seeking help are massive first steps to getting better and I can help you.

I am an integrative counsellor, which means that I use a range of counselling disciplines and theories to inform and ensure best practice, tailored to your needs. I provide a confidential, non-judgmental safe space for you to share what is on your mind, and help you explore your thoughts and feelings in more depth, so that you can really know yourself better and navigate life more comfortably.

I am experienced in working with children, young people and adults and can support a wide range of difficulties and stresses including loss, trauma, depression, anxiety and work-related problems. I am mindful that these may have been exacerbated by the pandemic and current economic climate.

As a member of the BACP, I adhere to its framework which ensures that I work safely and ethically to support your needs.
My previous career in education and my work with children’s services has given me knowledge of child and adolescent development and the many challenges young people, parents, guardians and teachers face.
My work in the community enables me to work with all age groups, ensuring all individual needs are supported and met.
I offer face to face sessions for young people and adults for short and long-term counselling.

Experience

As a family support worker, I worked with a range of families and children with additional needs and trauma. Currently I volunteer for a charity as an adult counsellor dealing with life’s challenges.
