MA, Dip Psych, PG Dip (Supervision), MBACP
I am a professionally qualified integrative relational counsellor, psychotherapist and supervisor based in Guildford, Surrey. I work with adults and young people (16 and up) as well as offering clinical supervision to both trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists.
There can be many reasons why you might be seeking support from a therapist at this time. We will work together to help you to explore, understand and cope with the difficult and overwhelming feelings that you may be experiencing in order to bring about positive change in your life.
I offer a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement. As an integrative practitioner, I draw from different theories and approaches depending on your individual needs. Whilst focusing on the present, we also look at how historic events and relationships might be impacting on how you in the here and now.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I am bound by a strict code of ethics, am committed to regular continuing professional development and attend clinical supervision on a regular basis.
I have extensive experience in supporting people with issues including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, personality disorders, bullying, work related stress, perfectionism, low self-esteem, self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
In addition to private practice, my experience includes extensive NHS work both in the IAPT service and as part of multidisciplinary GP teams as well as pre and post graduate higher education and hospice work.
